Opening of KAPELOU EUROPE

The most important event, to which we gradually and confidently walked all 8 years, is the opening of the official representative office of KAPELOU in Europe. Since autumn 2021, KAPELOU EU has been operating in the very center of mechanical engineering in Germany. The opening of an official representative office in Europe is an indicator of the quality of products, the competence of specialists; it is the trust of Europeans in our equipment and complex solutions. Along with the opening of the official representative office of KAPELOU in Europe, we launched the German version of the website so that users from Germany would receive information about the company’s current cases, read useful materials in the blog, study our products and learn about the latest in the field of automation in their native language.

Expansion of production

With regard to developments in production, in 2021 we acquired a premise with an area of ​​16,000 m2 in the village Katyuzhanka, because we have grandiose plans to expand and develop. A painting workshop has been operating at ILS INDUSTRY since August 2021. Now we can paint the details in the client’s corporate colors. For this, we have chosen a manufacturer of certified equipment as a supplier that meets all safety directives established by the EU. The award for a significant contribution to the development and prosperity of Chernihiv region was also a significant event for ILS INDUSTRY.

Top Ukrainian Award 2021

As a result of our efforts and the joint work of everyone, in August 2021 we received an honorary national award from the authoritative rating “Top Ukrainian Award”. The company is recognized as the market leader in lifting and handling equipment.

Exhibitions, profile events, partnership visits

Logistics online forum from Kiev Logistics School, 5th anniversary exhibition RAU EXPO 2021, Logistics Summer Camp 2021, SITL, CeMAT 2021, Parcel + Post Expo, Post & Delivery Expo UA, “XXVI ALL-UKRAINIAN LOGISTICS DAY: Success stories in logistics 2021” together with ROZETKA – only a part of the events we attended. At the Post & Delivery Expo UA KAPELOU presented an innovative stand with integrated solutions for picking “waves” of orders, automatic sorting, and placement of goods using a robot.

The visit to Vienna in October 2021 was very important for KAPELOU. Here we have secured a strategic partnership with the BOWE GROUP, one of the world’s leading suppliers of smart automation.

Innovative developments

UNITHUB. In August, KAPELOU introduced Unithub, an automatic pick-up and drop-off point. This is an innovative development through which you can send and receive parcels at a convenient time using a mobile application.

WXS. IT-center KAPELOU developed a unique software Warehouse X System (WXS), which helped us to configure the equipment for the Epicenter K, Kramatorsk project in less than 30 minutes. This integration became the fastest of 26 such projects. The Warehouse X System allows the operator to customize logistics business processes based on equipment behavior and data structure in catalogs and documents. In June 2021, we presented WXS at one of the most prestigious awards in the intralogistics sector – Best Product Awards 2021 from LogiMAT in the “Software, Communication, IT” category.

SPEEDBOT. In October, KAPELOU developed a SPEEDBOT grabber to sort goods more efficiently and quickly. With the help of the invader, the robot has much more functionality: it is used for picking, sorting and placing goods in the warehouse. The new invader moves an average of 500 to 1000 goods per hour. He picks up the goods in soft packaging, corrugated boxes, plastic boxes from the conveyor belt and places them in the storage cell.

BUFFER SEQUENCER. This solution compensates for the inequality in the collection and sorting of goods in the warehouse, automatically generates a sequence of boxes according to the “wave” of orders, allows you to sort, complete and transfer the order to the packing area as quickly as possible. In addition, it allows efficient use of warehouse space and provides a significantly larger number of processed orders in a shorter time.

Cooperation with Ukrainian universities

Another significant event is the beginning of cooperation with higher educational institutions. Thus, we will help students gain applied knowledge in the industries that are in demand today. The beginning was laid by the Kharkiv National University of Radio Electronics (NURE), which is one of the three best technical universities in Ukraine for 2021. Representatives of KAPELOU familiarized the students with the prospect of opening a new training center – a laboratory on the basis of the KITAM department, which will be equipped in January 2022. It will contain state-of-the-art equipment with electronics from leading European manufacturers.

In 2022, we are setting new ambitious goals. One of them is the participation of KAPELOU EU in an international event – a specialized exhibition of production and warehouse logistics and process management LogiMAT-2022, for which we are already carefully preparing. We are sure that 2022 will become more productive and eventful for us, because the KAPELOU team plans full-scale and boldly implements all plans.
