LogiMAT 2026: KAPELOU A-Frame – efficient small-item order fulfillment
At KAPELOU, we’re already preparing for LogiMAT Stuttgart 2026, one of Europe’s leading trade shows for intralogistics solutions and warehouse automation. The event will take place March 23-26 in Stuttgart, Germany.
At our booth 1F14, we will showcase the A-Frame – an order picking automation designed for fast, highly accurate small-item picking. The key advantage of this fulfillment technology is predictable throughput for order picking, especially in operations with a high share of repeat orders, while also reducing labor dependency and human error.
During the live demo, you’ll be able to meet KAPELOU experts and discuss how the high-speed picking system can support automated order fulfillment in your specific warehouse environment.
What you’ll see at the KAPELOU booth
At the KAPELOU booth, we’ll explain how to improve warehouse order picking performance through automation. The modular A-Frame system is built for warehouses with a wide assortment of fast-moving small items. With vertical dispensing channels feeding a central conveyor, the system enables a continuous picking flow, increasing warehouse throughput and reducing reliance on manual labor.
The automation supports 2 picking scenarios – dispensing items either directly into totes or onto a conveyor line:
- Pick-to-Tote – up to 3,600 operations/hour, accuracy up to 99.98%, and minimal manual handling;
- Pick-to-Belt – up to 1,200 operations/hour, designed for a smooth and even picking flow.
Both options fit a wide range of fulfillment operations automation – from compact urban hubs to large distribution centers – especially where businesses face rising operating costs, limited space, and fluctuating order volumes.
KAPELOU software: full visibility and control over picking
KAPELOU’s software provides full control over the picking process. It enables real-time system monitoring through a unified dashboard, delivers end-to-end traceability for every operation with optional photo documentation, allows configurable dispensing logic based on warehouse priorities, and supports productivity analytics for continuous performance improvement.
Which warehouses benefit most from the automation with the A-Frame system?
The A-Frame is a strong fit for picking automation in warehouses with a high volume of small-item SKUs, where speed and accuracy are critical:
- e-commerce and retail – error-free and fast order processing of high-turnover SKUs;
- pharmaceutical distribution – supports the automation of a pharmaceutical warehouse by delivering predictable throughput, high accuracy, and full traceability for every operation;
- FMCG logistics – consistent throughput for cosmetics, hygiene products, and household chemicals;
- automotive and industrial – reliable handling of small parts, accessories, and components.
The warehouse system supports a wide range of packaging formats, including bottles, jars, cartons, blisters, sachets, and paper goods.
Today, more than 9,000 A-Frame channels are already operating in our customers’ warehouses. Overall, KAPELOU A-Frame systems have processed millions of cartons of small-item products, delivering stable order picking for pharmaceuticals.
