KAPELOU at Parcel + Post Expo: the results of a visit to the capital of Austria
On October 12-14, the leading trade fair and conference of the logistics, e-commerce and postal industry Parcel + Post Expo was hosted in Vienna. The event brought innovators, startupers, professionals and major industry suppliers together, always open to new technologies and fresh solutions. The representatives of KAPELOU also visited the exhibition and shared their impressions of the profile event.
The pandemic gave the impression that the world has paused for a moment, which cannot be said for the delivery sector, which went into overdrive. This testifies to the extreme importance of the economy. Therefore, Parcel + Post Expo 2021 is the most relevant and important international event of the year for the industry. Representatives of KAPELOU, who visited the exhibition in Vienna, noted: the priority at the event was the issues and problems facing the logistics of e-commerce and the postal industry.
The slogan of this exhibition was the call “Getting together again”. An exhibition area was equipped to get acquainted with technological innovations, and special conferences with speakers were organized to discuss and analyze trends and challenges. The exhibition was small, but very useful in content.
The uniqueness of Parcel + Post Expo 2021 was the online broadcast of the event through the special virtual platform. Thus, Parcel + Post Expo Hybrid provided convenient conditions for joining the event both online and offline. Thanks to this unique format, the event had a wider range of the coverage than in previous years.
KAPELOU representatives brought a lot of insights from this exhibition. First of all, they got the opportunity to get acquainted with the latest technologies and get inspired by ideas for solutions in different business segments. Sergey Palamarchuk, the international sales manager of KAPELOU, summed up: “At the exhibition we met a lot of our clients, which testifies to the high level and the degree of its importance. We also saw new solutions that we can apply in our projects, especially sorting systems based on AGV machines from leading companies. In the end, we found new suppliers of components for our automation systems, so the visit to Vienna met all our expectations and proved to be as productive for us as possible“.
