Solution

We have a long-standing partnership with Epicentr K and have already developed an automation solution for more than 10 order pickup centres. Thanks to our many years of experience and our KAPELOU® modular conveyor designs, we are able to close such projects in a short period of time, on average 3 to 7 days. For the order picking centre in Ilichanka village, Odessa region, we implemented a turnkey automation solution and installed:

Because of the layout of the room where the pick-up point is located, we have installed 2 swivel drive conveyor sections. Thanks to the modularity of conveyor systems by KAPELOU®, we can install our equipment in a warehouse, where the premises have even the most complex layout. This means that there is no need to relocate shelving or other equipment already in use in the warehouse.

Thanks to the automation of the KAPELOU has increased the productivity of the pickup point, the work of the staff has become more efficient, and the pickup time has been reduced from an average of 10 minutes to 3 minutes. These figures are important because these centres are designed to ensure that customers receive their orders quickly and with maximum convenience. A pickup point is a kind of “last mile”. Every client has an opportunity to choose a time and a place for receiving goods where it will be convenient for him.

Thanks to Epicentr K for many years of cooperation, always interesting projects and a common desire to implement new solutions.
