KAPELOU production celebrates its 6th anniversary

In-house development is the key to stability

In 2018, KAPELOU took an important step in its own development by launching production sites for metalworking, assembly of components, mechanisms and aggregates, as well as an electrical workshop and a technical control department. These innovations laid the groundwork for further expansion and improvement of the production facilities, allowing us to offer our customers modern, reliable equipment tailored to any storage conditions and individual needs.

In 2021, we expanded our own production capacity and opened a paint facility. Its employees specialize in applying anti-corrosion coatings and coatings in the customer’s corporate colors. This has provided additional flexibility in order fulfillment, improved the appearance and extended the life of the manufactured structures.

Continuing to expand its capabilities, the company opened a welding department to form one-piece assemblies of various equipment configurations. This has further improved the reliability of each piece of equipment produced.

Later, a production unit in Germany was established. Here various conveyor systems are manufactured, but from prefabricated modules and structures. This decision was another step towards closer cooperation with European customers. As a result, we are developing new markets and opening up new opportunities for partnerships.

Currently, production equipment in Europe is manufactured in 8 production facilities with a total area of 11,700 square meters. The fleet of modern machine tools ensures high efficiency in the production of large batches of components, repeatable quality of each part and flexibility of production processes.

The new equipment includes a SMART 350 LM 600 long product cutting line and a Motoman Yaskawa robotic welding complex. The new equipment has helped expand the batch production of parts and the capabilities of the laser welding complex for the manufacture of large equipment.

In our own production facilities we manufacture the entire line of conveyor systems for automated movement of boxes and pallets. Over the past 6 years, the production of conveyors has become mass production due to the growing demand – conveyors are an integral part of any warehouse automation project. Understanding the needs of the market and companies, we also manufacture a variety of robotic systems that significantly speed up product processing, ensure accurate order picking and reduce employee routes through the use of “goods to person” technology.

The main value of the production area is a team of qualified professionals dedicated to their work. These are 40 specialists who have been with the company since the start of the production facilities.

• in 1 day we produce 65 m of a standard conveyor (without complex automated functions);
• 1 employee assembles a control panel with 115+ positions in 1 week;
• in 1 day we assemble a pallet elevator.

The friendly team is ready to meet any challenge with ease, but with caution: successfully mastering new technologies, manufacturing a large number of equipment simultaneously, and working even in conditions of power supply restrictions.

Thus, this fall, the production team demonstrated an incredible ability to quickly and efficiently manufacture a large number of production conveyor components for the implementation of 40 projects in Europe at the same time. The phased execution of the work, the careful planning of the production of the required number of parts and the coordination of actions help the team to cope with the increased volume of tasks.
