Stages of conveyor installation:

  • solution development – creation of drawings, conveyors layout plan;

Conveyor belt between levels in a logistics center

Express One case study. The largest courier company in Hungary, delivering more than 60,000 parcels daily, chose KAPELOU to automate its warehouse by installing a belt conveyor.

In close cooperation with Bowe Austria, we integrated a solution that allows the sorting of large parcels and their delivery into the existing system, ensuring unobstructed forklift access and free space for staff.

By installing the belt conveyor, the customer was able to optimize the movement of parcels of various shapes and weights and increase warehouse productivity. Epicentr K case study. The logistics center, which handles 160,000 orders per month, turned to KAPELOU to increase the productivity of its 72,000 square meter warehouse complex.

In the receiving area, roller conveyors were installed to optimize the goods receiving algorithm and to automate the transport of trays to the sorting area. The installation of double-deck roller conveyors helped automate the movement of goods and the accumulation of totes. The hinged sections of the conveyors were installed to allow free passage of personnel and equipment. Elevators and spiral conveyors were installed in the storage area to move products between levels. The belt conveyor was installed at a 16-degree angle, with the belt installed in a wave pattern to ensure free movement of personnel. Special platform lifts were installed to circulate pallets and transport containers between storage areas. To spread the flow and avoid congestion in the packing area, we chose to install conveyors at different heights – 1600 and 750 mm.

The multi-stage installation of conveyors with a total length of 3000 m made it possible to automate warehouse processes, simplify logistics and increase the efficiency of goods handling – it takes less than 30 minutes to ship orders along a transport route.
