Logistics Summit in Lviv: Current Trends in Automation

On July 25, we joined the Logistics Summit in Lviv, organized by Alterra Group. The event became a platform for insightful discussions and the exchange of practical experience.
In a warm, sincere atmosphere, the summit brought together representatives of logistics companies, distributors, and suppliers of modern technologies, as well as investors interested in the development of the logistics market and the implementation of innovative solutions.
A heartfelt meeting: practical solutions for everyday challenges
The event’s format encouraged open sharing of personal experiences, challenges, and ways to overcome them amid economic uncertainty and labor shortages.
Discussions focused on selecting technologies and approaches to warehouse design considering risks and limited resources, increasing business autonomy and resilience through automation, and choosing the right equipment for maximum warehouse efficiency. Participants discussed practical yet cost-effective technological solutions that can be implemented gradually, ensuring consistent productivity growth without excessive investment. Special attention was given to technologies that enhance the value of people – enabling inclusive principles in warehouse operations to create safe, comfortable, and accessible workplaces for everyone.
KAPELOU experience: technologies that deliver results
Our company was represented at the summit by Yevhen Kulyk, Head of Comprehensive Solutions at KAPELOU. He shared insights from implementing projects for European warehouses using our in-house manufactured AS/RS, A-Frame, shuttle, and conveyor systems. This indicates that improving warehouse processes with a high ROI is achievable for any business – in e-commerce, retail, automotive, pharmaceuticals, FMCG, DIY, as well as postal and courier services.
Among the summit participants were BERTA Group and Nova Poshta, our customers who have already adopted automation and experienced its benefits firsthand:
- increased order processing speed and accuracy;
- optimized warehouse space usage without warehouse footprint expansion;
- overcoming workforce shortages;
- reduced physical strain on staff;
- creation of a safe and inclusive work environment.
The power of professional networking and knowledge sharing
We thank Alterra Group for fostering a warm atmosphere of business dialogue and networking. The key takeaway for participants was clear – automation helps reduce costs, make warehouse processes more efficient, and prepare them for scaling.
We continue sharing our expertise and contributing to the development of warehouse logistics in Europe and beyond. Join our upcoming events to see innovation in action, get inspired by real-life case studies, and connect with industry experts. You can explore the KAPELOU event calendar.
