Post & Delivery Expo UA: KAPELOU is preparing to present innovative technologies

For the first time, the company will present unique equipment that has no analogues in Ukraine – a buffer sequencer from KAPELOU®. The principle of its work is to buffer trays that come at different speeds from the selection to the sorting area. The system is designed for high-speed sorting, assembly and transfer to packaging. Its advantage is the ability to compensate for uneven collection and sorting. The sequence of issuing “waves” from the buffer is determined by the WMS warehouse management system, TMS order delivery management system, and also based on the logic of priority shipments of “waves” of orders according to the car departure schedule. Moreover, the technology delivers packaging directly to the workplace of commodity sorters, which leads to more productivity.

KAPELOU will also present the Pick-by-Light paperless selection system, a modular belt conveyor and the recent development – Speed-bot. This Speed-bot serves as a real helper for the rapid movement of goods to storage. He takes parcels from the conveyor and places them in the right cells – accurately, quickly, works with any type of packaging.

At the stand will be showing the principle of operation of AGV machines (Automatic Guided Vehicle). AGV help to move loads weighing up to 5 kg and a size of 300 × 250 mm, and process small items in the warehouse around the clock. Robotic sorting solves the problem of seasonal fluctuations in demand for products because the work process can involve the required number of robots.
