On May 29-30, the KAPELOU team participated in the 32nd All-Ukrainian Logistician’s Day exhibition and conference. The event brought together logistics professionals and thought leaders who are actively shaping the future of the industry.

We showcased real-case-based solutions that enhance warehouse productivity through automation and help create inclusive workplaces accessible to everyone.

The spotlight: warehouse productivity and the value of every employee

In his presentation “Inclusion = Efficiency. Technology that works for everyone,” Yevhen Kulyk, Key Account Manager at KAPELOU, spoke about automation as a tool for expanding access to warehouse operations by creating inclusive working environments. Using real-world projects implemented in Switzerland and Germany he demonstrated how automated technologies are transforming warehouse management principles – speeding up order fulfillment, reducing manual labor, and laying the groundwork for scalable growth. He also presented video examples of how KAPELOU’s equipment is already solving specific challenges across various industries:

  • shuttles – high-performance order picking technology capable of handling large SKU volumes, scalable through added shuttle levels and units;
  • AS/RS GNOM – a compact autonomous robot that moves totes in and out of multi-tier warehouse shelving and transports them to conveyor lines;
  • stacker cranes – robust load-handling solutions for warehouses with a wide product range and varying throughput dynamics.

Our smart technologies are based on in-depth analysis of each client’s warehouse processes to address labor shortages and, at the same time, open new opportunities for people who previously couldn’t work in warehouse environments. People with disabilities, in particular, represent a significant and often overlooked labor reserve. According to the WHO, over 1 billion people globally live with some form of disability, including at least 135 million in Europe.

Automation isn’t just about warehouse efficiency. It’s about access. With KAPELOU’s Goods-to-Person technology, end-to-end solutions and customized software we help create safe, ergonomic, and inclusive workstations. Where workers once had to walk long distances and lift heavy boxes, machines now do the heavy lifting. This reduces physical strain and ensures accurate order picking. Meanwhile, employees can focus on more intellectual tasks that require skill, attention to detail, and experience.

Yevhen Kulyk noted: “Automation is helping us rethink the role of people in warehouse operations. Technologies are about creating employment opportunities without barriers. While machines handle routine, repetitive tasks, people gain the time and energy to make decisions and grow professionally”.

KAPELOU’s intelligent warehouse automation technologies are people-focused:

  • Goods-to-Person technology – reduces physical strain and adapts warehouse workstations for a diverse workforce;
  • fast onboarding – simplified training and integration for new warehouse employees;
  • speed and accuracy – technologies minimize the impact of human error;
  • growth potential for warehouse staff – shifts focus from exhausting manual tasks to process control and decision-making;
  • flexibility and care – warehouse technologies adapt to your business, not the other way around;
  • scalability – expand throughput by adding modular warehouse equipment.

KAPELOU’s turnkey solutions are both high-tech and human-centered. Automation technologies enable controlled, chaos-free warehouse scaling while providing comfortable working conditions for everyone.

Logistician’s Day in numbers

The exhibition was a vibrant platform for showcasing cutting-edge logistics technologies, gaining actionable insights for resource optimization, and building valuable partnerships.

  • 2 full days of expert presentations across 2 conference tracks: 32nd All-Ukrainian Logistician’s Day and Distribution Master 2025;
  • 30+ top speakers presenting cases and insights into the future of logistics;
  • 130+ stands with advanced technologies and equipment;
  • 2,000+ participants.

A big thank-you to the organizers for their professionalism, and to everyone who visited our booth – we truly appreciated the great conversations, experience sharing, and meaningful networking.

Following the results of the “All-Ukrainian Logistics Day” exhibition and conference, Yevhen Kulyk, Key Account Manager at KAPELOU, was recognized among the top three speakers of the event, alongside Vyacheslav Kuzhel (Fozzy Group) and Iryna Danylets (Metro Cash & Carry Ukraine). Yevhen’s presentation – “Inclusion = Efficiency. Technologies that Work for Everyone” – introduced a fresh perspective on the role of automation in warehouse logistics, emphasizing its power to create equal opportunities for diverse employee groups. We’re grateful to the audience for their trust and appreciation of the message!

And yes, we’re already preparing for the next Logistician’s Day on November 28, 2025. We’ll show how modern technologies help solve real business challenges, transform warehouse logistics, and improve working conditions. With 850+ implemented projects, we know one thing for sure: warehouse automation is always about people-powered technology.

Modern warehouse technology as a cornerstone of Europe’s inclusive workforce

Warehouse automation opens new talent pools for businesses – people whose potential was previously overlooked due to physical barriers. At the same time, technologies create dignified employment and growth opportunities for individuals with disabilities, veterans, and older workers.

Let’s implement people-centric warehouse technology together – with KAPELOU. Interested in proven automation solutions? Contact us – our experts will design an effective system tailored to your warehouse’s needs.
